Mackenzie Lobby

A freelance writer, editor, and photographer, my work is three-fold: journalism, book publishing, and marketing. My journalistic ventures are linked to a wide variety of topics, mostly focusing on endurance sports, health, nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle trends, for both regional and national magazines.

Involvement in the book publishing industry springs from a past job working for a book publisher. Most recently, I wrote a marathon training book published by VeloPress.

My social media and marketing experience lends itself well to copywriting for company brochures, websites, newsletters, and other related content.

Penning work from my dining room table, I strive to provide creative, engaging, and well-researched content in a timely manner. Viewing the writing life as one big adventure, I’m always in pursuit of my next story.

The Writing life: delicious ambiguity

“Some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.
Delicious ambiguity…”
